Just a pond. Stop. Sweep left and right with binoculars. Continue on to Celery field.

2) Kinds of Birds

Seen some ducks plus the usual egret/heron/grackle type stuff.

Snakes seem more likely than most places otherwise none.

Abundance of weird garbage.

Experience

This is a duck pond up the road from Celery Field. Weird things get disgarded here. A collection of wigs was stuck to a cabbage palm like we found creatures crawling up or down. A huge betamax videocamera from 1984 that had to have a story. And large numbers of undergarment. Something freaky goes on here periodically.
