1) What It's Like

It's a pier, a picnic shelter, an expanse of potential mud and grass for birds depending on water levels.

2) Kinds of Birds

This whole area in general is supposed to have caracara, snail kites, and whooping cranes. We saw sand hill cranes up close. Grackles, limpkin, ibis, cattle egret. Watch the road coming in - seems like things might go on there. Also just while driving along canoe creek road.

3) Wildlife

Cows next door.

4) Amenities

Picnic shelter

Experience

There are several unique birding spots going down Canoe Creek Road from St.Cloud near Kissimmee. This is supposed to be one of the better ones but it's a spot you're more likely to see something rare than it is a spot that's packed with birds. Watch the road coming in for birds - I'm wondering if that's where some of the remarkable ones might be seen.
