1) What It's Like

Pull to side of highway and see killdeer.

2) Kinds of Birds

Killdeer and cranes mostly.

3) Amenities

Enough space to safely pull off highway. Also suspicious bag we had to check to make sure it didn't contain body parts.

4) Directions

SE of the intersection (not a stop sign or anything but where the small road hits the highway). See GPS coordinates on map link but not really necessary. Right of shipping container etc - field and the short trees. Examine grass close enough to the road that you could actually spot killdeer.

5) Time Requirements

1-15 minutes of looking at trees and grass for birds.

Experience

This showed up as a birding spot and it's just us pulling to the side of the road on a highway. We saw lots of killdeer in the grass, some sandhill cranes, and I think we missed a photos of a warbler. Pretty good for stopping on a highway but it's not exactly pleasant.
