1) What It's Like

It's another park without much tree cover but it has a bit of diversity of plants and there are enough trees that you see the odd raptor in tall dead trees. It does seem to have a fair number of skunks though which is pretty unusual. The entrance trail at dusk is where I've seen them. Be careful not to surprise them. There's a tiny creek you can see and in the back left corner GPS says there's a more substantial one but it's too overgrown to reach.

2) Kinds of Birds

Not a ton but some woodpeckers and raptors that like sitting on tall dead trees.

3) Wildlife

Skunks and I've seen deer. There is probably more but I haven't spent enough time here to see more.

4) Amenities

The entrance has some good info posted but otherwise it's not really a picnicing park.

5) Directions

Should show up on GPS and be visible from highway pretty well.

6) Time Requirements

You could spend an afternoon. It's not tiny or big. You probably have seen enough after an hour or two.

Experience

I've only gone a couple times because it's not really worth the drive. It's not exciting but it's not a huge disappointment. The skunks are interesting.
