OFFICIAL INFO:

1) What It's Like

Just a park for BBQs that birds happen to like sitting off shore of.

2) Kinds of Birds

Brown footed booby, Scaups, shore birds, egrets/herons, and just forest birds like hawks.

3) Wildlife

It's surrounded by generally urban areas so you're not going to see deer or anything like that.

4) Amenities

Bathrooms and gazebos (well rectangular shelter really).

5) Time Requirements

5-20 minutes

Experience

See the Mobly Beach writeup. Brown boobies like sitting on the powerlines but it's a closer view across the water there at Mobly. We've also seen a lot of Scaups here. It's at the top of Tampa Bay so there must be something different and attractive to them here. Other than that the park is sort of on a hill which is odd for the area and it was I believe a native american mound / midden though there's nothing to see regarding that that I'm aware of.
