1) What It's Like

Not much for birding or hiking here. It's a man made beach next to a power plant that is probably fine but looks like it wants to give you cancer. It is a nice resource for locals though since bays don't usually have beaches and this is a long way from the beach-laden part of coast. People having nice time.

2) Kinds of Birds

Saw little to none but in theory gulls, pelicans, anhinga, shorebirds, egrets/heron.

3) Wildlife

Doubt there is any.

4) Amenities

Typical beach stuff - bathrooms etc. Sometimes ice cream trucks.

5) Directions

Might seem like you're not on right road since have to drive through condos to get here.

6) Time Requirements

If you actually spot shorebirds maybe you could spend 20 minutes.

Experience

If you don't live here there's no reason to go. No hiking, not really any birds. It's possible there are birds here when the people are not but can't say. It's kind of a strange coast - normally it gets shallow slowly and there is sea grass where you can see sea life. This got deep quicker and not much there. Maybe that was intentional to seem like a normal beach.
