OFFICIAL INFO:

1) What It's Like

An urban park with jogging trails and ponds - very exposed.

2) Kinds of Birds

Good chance for ducks. St.Pete gets more birds than most cities, especially during migrations, so your odds of seeing warblers is higher in general but this park isn't special.

3) Wildlife

Turtles in ponds. Squirrels. Typical urban stuff.

4) Amenities

It's nice for a local park.

5) Time Requirements

You might walk around for a half hour.

Experience

It's an urban park with trails meant more for joggers. You aren't going to forget you're not in the woods. In summer it's really hot and exposed. In the lakes you have a fair chance of seeing more ducks than the average park. Not really some place to go out of your way to visit but you might see something of interest.
