OFFICIAL INFO:

1) What It's Like

It's just a park around a pond in Plant City we drove by and saw 100's of whistling ducks at.

2) Kinds of Birds

Very weird - 100's of whistling ducks... I'm assuming they stopped here on the way to somewhere else. BUT - there were also some domestic ducks, ibis, and a few wading birds who seemed confused by the new arrivals.

3) Wildlife

City - none worth mentioning.

4) Amenities

I don't think there was anything but a parking area but there might have been a picnic area or something.

5) Time Requirements

5 minutes - you can see the entire thing from wherever you park.

Experience

We drove past here to avoid horrid traffic around the Strawberry Festival (don't get excited - it's a county fair with a theme - that is all). Glance over and holy crap what are all those ducks! We've never seen this many whistling ducks. One group fighting another (bizarre to watch), some swimming in a straight line, chaos. I'd imagine it's not a bad place to stop to see birds in general but there wasn't much of any water plants so I wouldn't expect a lot of birds call this place home.... stop if you're driving by (or glance over while driving).
