OFFICIAL INFO:

1) What It's Like

Ponds with dirt road around them. A few gallinules. Fine to stop at if you're in the area but don't go out of your way. Also it is very exposed - no shade. So summer would be very unpleasant to do this one.

2) Kinds of Birds

Gallinules, egrets/herons - and not an impressive number.

3) Wildlife

Pretty urban area so none to speak of.

4) Amenities

A parking area and the most faded out signs I've ever seen.

5) Time Requirements

Might take you I'm guessing an hour to walk around the whole thing but you probably would figure you've seen enough within 20.

Experience

I'm guessing they are trying to do something like Orlando Wetlands, Vierra Wetlands, or Sweetwater wetlands. BUT from the standpoint of looking at it to hike it it looks more like a not particularly impressive urban park. There just isn't a lot of birds and water plants and you get the impression it's just on such a smaller scale it's not the same thing. We saw a few gallinules egrets/herons etc but that was about it.
