Chattaway Restaurant

We like different, with some complexity, and/or fun. Anything that adds a bit of culture. I'm sure I'm not going to do this well but this is the gist of this place: It's 70 years old which for Florida makes it prehistoric. You walk in and there is a well done bridge over a koi pond. There's a big outdoor seating space with booths, long tables, and a live music area. They have fans and shade and such so it's not bad in summer. That gets lively out there but not in an obnoxious loud way. The food is  - well I haven't figured out the theme. Burgers are great, the chowder I think it was was great, and there seems to be an overlay of a British theme mixed in. Never had bad food here. If you go inside there's a lot of stuff about the Queen of England on the wall. Most people we mention it to like it - it's unlikely to be boring.
