OFFICIAL INFO:

1) What It's Like

It's a suburban municipal park. So mostly expect people playing frisbee golf. BUT - the lakes are fairly sizable and manage to attract water birds and marsh rabbits.

2) Kinds of Birds

Lots of gallinules, some ducks and wading birds.

3) Wildlife

Suburbia but we did see marsh rabbits.

4) Amenities

Frisbee golf, BBQs, bathrooms.

5) Time Requirements

To check out a few spots on lakes you might want to give yourself 20 minutes but it is a stop - not really a hike.

Experience

We drove to one end - walked around a bit since you see more birds that way than just driving by. We went to another spot and repeat. Definitely not the top 10 for the area but if you're in the area and need to see yourself some gallinules you'll probably do well.
