OFFICIAL INFO:

1) What It's Like

It's a trail next to a creek that used to be a river - live oak forest. So it's a hiking trail next to a drop-off to that creek. There's a field next to that forest.

2) Kinds of Birds

Underwhelming - just typical forest birds - titmice, cardinals, etc.

3) Wildlife

Saw rabbits. Feels like a forest but I wouldn't expect deer.

4) Amenities

I think there were bathrooms but maybe not. Nice signs.

5) Time Requirements

We spent an hour but you could turn around at any time.

Experience

I thought this was going to be much more than it was just because I'd heard it mentioned. But it's really just a trail along a creek inside a deeper riverbed. Walk off the trail and you leave the trees. Look around the area and it's golf courses etc. It's a pretty trail but there's not much here.
