1) What It's Like

It's a fairly short trail through pretty oak forest along a couple lake/ponds in close proximity to Tampa.

2) Kinds of Birds

Not many. Forest birds - gnat catchers mostly. Anhinga in the ponds.

3) Wildlife

Could be some - connected to a long corridor of forest - but never seen any.

4) Amenities

Bathrooms, parking.

5) Time Requirements

There are 2 or 3 miles of trails in there so an hour or two would cover it. You can easily do a quite 20 minute walk as well since there's no real must see destination to walk to.

Experience

This is a pleasant oak forest trail with some ponds. Although it's connected to larger wildernesses I've never seen wildlife other than some turkeys on the way in. Also it's not so great in terms of birds. It's really just a nice trail if you live in Tampa. It does connect to a lot of biking trails if you're into biking. The power line easement looks like the most interesting trail but you're not allowed to walk it.
