OFFICIAL INFO:

1) What It's Like

Birding surprisingly good and the walk is vaguely nice. A walk over and around a creek and pond in a residential neighborhood. A few people here can appear sketchy though they have always been friendly.

2) Kinds of Birds

Warblers, gallinules, and typical light forest birds like titmice and cardinals. Should be egret/heron in water.

3) Wildlife

Have seen rabbits here.

4) Amenities

Pavement - maybe there was a BBQ area. I think no bathrooms.

5) Time Requirements

40 min to walk out and back. 5 to just stop and have a peek.

Experience

Every time we've been here there's always been one or two people on the trail but near parking that look like - well based on my experience of watching Breaking Bad I always think if I ever want to try crystal meth now is the time to ask. But at the same time they've always been friendly so I'm sure I'm just judging them for something I shouldn't. We're all enjoying a nice little bit of near wilderness in a suburban area.

If you go left there's a metal bridge. I've never gone all the way around and I want to say it actually does NOT go all the way around - so be aware it might not be a loop. The birds were mostly just at random in the trees.
