1) What It's Like

Just a dock where for some reason (at least in March) Manatees hang out to be easily viewed.

2) Kinds of Birds

Egrets/Herons that kind of thing.

3) Wildlife

4) Amenities

Parking and dock.

5) Dear Ranger

Love to see a sign that explained why they like this spot.

6) Time Requirements

5-30 minutes. You just get out of the car.

You pass a bridge while driving around north parts of Merrit Island and all of a sudden dozens of manatees. Not sure why the hang out here - it's not a spring or anything - but they do. At springs they tend to stick around at night/morning. Here was middle of the day. They also hang out where they are very easy to see.
